Common questions

How often should my pet be groomed?
It depends on the coat. Many long-haired and curly-coated dogs do best every 4 to 8 weeks, and short-haired dogs every 8 to 12 weeks for a bath and nail trim. We'll suggest a schedule that suits your pet.
How long does a groom take?
Most grooms take 1 to 3 hours depending on size, coat and the style you want. We'll give you a time when you drop off, and let you know as soon as your pet is ready.
My pet gets nervous. Can you help?
Yes. We go slowly, take breaks and use lots of treats and calm handling. For very nervous pets, mobile grooming at your door can be much easier.
What if my pet has a skin or health problem?
We're groomers, not vets, so we can't diagnose or treat anything. If we spot something unusual, we'll show you so you can check with your vet. Please tell us about any health issues, lumps or sore spots before the groom.
Do you groom cats?
Yes. We offer brush-outs, de-matting, lion cuts and nail trims for cats, handled gently and quietly.
